Claude is a soft A-line in ivory — the skirt wide and voluminous without being structured, moving freely and pooling into a full cathedral train. The bodice is the counterpoint: a sheer illusion construction with floral appliqués — individual ivory flowers and leaf forms placed across the chest, shoulder, and upper back. The appliqués are three-dimensional, sitting proud of the sheer base, giving the upper body a botanical weight that the skirt's open lightness directly contradicts.
The back is the decisive angle. The sheer illusion panel continues across the entire back — the flowers visible through it, the spine and shoulder blades reading beneath. The gown's structure is exposed from behind: the illusion fabric meeting the skirt at the natural waist, the full volume of the A-line spreading outward and back. Photographed from behind, the cathedral train spreads wide, and the botanical bodice seen in profile creates a silhouette unlike anything symmetrical.
