Jenny Holzer turned language into sculpture — words projected onto buildings, carved into stone, scrolling across LED signs in the dark. Her art lives at the intersection of precision and scale. This gown operates at the same intersection: intimate lace detailing amplified to architectural proportion.
A strapless fit-and-flare silhouette with a transformable design. The primary gown features a strapless sweetheart neckline with a corseted bodice covered in swirling rose-pattern lace — large-scale rose motifs in a tonal ivory that blur the line between fabric and sculpture. The skirt flares from the low hip into a full train covered in the same oversized rose appliques, with three-dimensional petals adding depth. An optional detachable overskirt or cape — visible in the rear view — adds a dramatic illusion-sleeve ballgown silhouette with off-the-shoulder construction and a cathedral-length train bordered with the same rose motifs.
The lace pattern itself is the design statement: roses rendered at near life-size scale, their petals overlapping and interlocking across the entire surface.
