A full ballgown with a cathedral train that spreads metres behind her. The skirt is tulle, but the surface is covered in sparkling spiral embroidery — swirling patterns of beads and sequins that catch light from every direction. The effect is constant, low shimmer. Hand-crafted 3D organza flowers — five or six of them, each the size of an open hand — are scattered across the skirt. They sit among the spirals like sculptures in a garden. A matching floral headpiece and cathedral veil with a large bow complete the look.
The corset is structured, deep plunging V-neck, with a corset-lace back. The boning is visible through sheer fabric.

Maria Lani arrived in 1920s Paris and convinced over fifty artists — Matisse, Cocteau, Man Ray, Chagall — to paint her portrait, claiming she was a film star. No one checked. No one cared. The work was too compelling to question. This gown operates the same way.
