A strapless fitted mermaid gown with a dramatically ruffled train as its central gesture. The bodice and upper skirt are constructed in smooth white fabric — clean, minimalist, structured at the strapless neckline with a sweetheart or straight edge. From the mid-hip down, the silhouette erupts: layers upon layers of ruffled organza or tulle petals cascade from the hips to the floor and beyond in a train of extraordinary volume. Each ruffle layer is individual — the cumulative effect is a wave of white fabric that pools in concentric rings around the wearer. The transition from the smooth body of the gown to the ruffled train is abrupt and intentional — contrast as design principle.
The gown has two faces: from above the waist, architectural restraint; from below, pure ceremony.
