Mona is a ballgown in the most composed tradition of the form — structure without excess, volume with restraint.

The off-the-shoulder construction sits low on the collarbone with a clean, folded fabric band running from shoulder to shoulder — a single architectural horizontal that frames the décolleté and transitions into a boned corset bodice with visible vertical structure. The bodice has no surface ornamentation: the construction is the detail. Below, the skirt opens in a heavy ivory satin or mikado in a full princess ballgown silhouette — generous in volume, entirely smooth, with a cathedral train.

The folded off-shoulder band is the gown's signature — a designed element that elevates what would otherwise be a classic sweetheart neckline into something more considered and precise. The contrast between the horizontal band and the vertical bodice lines creates a tension that the clean skirt resolves.
