Off-the-shoulder caps in a soft, structured fabric fold down from the shoulder line — a pair of fabric bows or folded fabric drapes that create an intentional, asymmetric weight at the shoulder. Below, the boned corset bodice is clean and vertical in its lines, fitted precisely to the waist. The skirt opens in a generous A-line in smooth ivory satin or mikado — entirely clean, entirely without embellishment — sweeping into a cathedral train.
The visual weight of the entire gown sits in the shoulders. Everything below is ground. The proportion is considered and the execution precise — a gown that understands that ornamentation is most effective when it is contained to a single location.
