The silhouette is a long-sleeve mermaid in smooth ivory crepe — Bateau neckline, completely unembellished bodice, fitted through the torso, hip and thigh with a subtle flare at the hem extending into a sweep train. The long sleeves taper to the wrist with precision. Every line of the construction follows the body without performance.

The back of the gown continues the front's severity: no buttons, no lace, no back detail other than the clean seam line and the beginning of the train. The fabric does all the work — the weight and drape of a fine crepe making even stillness read as movement.
