A fitted mermaid silhouette with thin spaghetti straps, constructed in ivory beaded tulle over a champagne lining. The bodice is built as a visible structured corset — the boning channels visible through the translucent beaded mesh, creating an architectural undergarment worn as outer garment. Three-dimensional floral and leaf appliques are scattered across the bodice and cascade down the mermaid skirt, each piece individually worked and attached. The corset structure is the design's distinguishing element: curves of boning creating graphic lines across the chest and torso that read simultaneously as lingerie and couture. The skirt extends in beaded tulle into a chapel train, continuing the scattered applique work to the hem.
The combination of visible construction and three-dimensional surface embellishment positions this gown in dialogue with both architecture and craft.
