Helen is an off-shoulder mermaid covered entirely in fine iridescent sequin fabric — the sequins small and densely packed, giving the gown an all-over shimmer rather than the sectional sparkle of applied beadwork. The silhouette is fitted through the body and opens at the knee into a flared skirt with a court train. The off-shoulder neckline leaves the collarbone and the top of the chest bare; the neckline falls into a sweetheart curve.
The sleeves are detachable: sheer organza puff sleeves that gather at the off-shoulder line and billow gently before tapering. When worn, they extend the sparkle of the gown into a different texture — soft and light above the hard glitter of the sequin bodice. When removed, the silhouette becomes a clean strapless mermaid. The front slit opens at mid-thigh on one side.
The back is low, the sequin fabric continuing uninterrupted. A court train extends from the hem.
