Some gowns announce themselves. Laylah waits for the right moment — which is when someone sees the front rosette.

The silhouette is a clean strapless A-line in ivory organza — smooth, unembellished, with a straight across neckline and a wide skirt flowing into a cathedral train. At the waist, a single oversized 3D rosette is applied at the centre front — sculptural, ivory, formed from folded and gathered organza petals. It is the only embellishment on the entire gown. The skirt is untouched: plain white organza that catches light at the hem and billows easily as the model moves.

The back is entirely bare above the waist, the strapless construction leaving the shoulders and spine uncovered. The cathedral train extends wide.

A single sculptural detail on an otherwise unmarked surface: this is a lesson in proportion and restraint. The rosette is large enough to justify the silence around it. The silence is wide enough to make the rosette significant.
