The most architectural gown in the Avant-garde collection. Monira contains almost nothing that is not load-bearing.

The silhouette is a fitted mermaid in smooth ivory crepe, long-sleeved, with a square neckline — a combination that reads as precise and deliberate. The sleeves are full-length, fitted, with no embellishment. The skirt flows to a court train. The square neckline sits wide across the collarbone, creating a horizontal opening against the otherwise vertical emphasis of the gown.

The back is the defining element: the gown is entirely open from below the shoulder blades to the waist — a square-cut open back, with the same clean geometry as the front neckline. The back edges of the opening are sharp and straight. Inside this opening, the skin is the only element. There is no sheer panel, no crossing strap, no back detail. The absence is intentional and absolute.

Paired in the lookbook with a long cathedral veil, which enters the frame from above and flows over and behind the gown. The veil demonstrates what the clean lines of the gown can support without conflict.
