Padma introduces a motif found nowhere else in the collection: dragonflies. Delicate three-dimensional dragonfly appliques rest along the deep V-neckline, their wings constructed from sheer organza and fine beading. These sculptural insects appear to have just landed on the gown's surface — positioned asymmetrically across the decolletage and along the illusion mesh of the plunging neckline.
Draped off-shoulder cap sleeves in gathered organza create soft, rounded volume at the upper arms, framing the exposed shoulders. The bodice transitions into a wrapped waistline with a wide pleated cummerbund that defines the natural waist before releasing into a full A-line skirt. A high side slit breaks through the volume, adding movement and modernity.
The organza skirt extends into a chapel-length train, the fabric's lightweight transparency allowing light to pass through the layers. The gown's construction balances volume — the full skirt, the gathered sleeves — against precise, delicate detail in the dragonfly work and the structured bodice.
