Rebecca Horn built kinetic sculptures — mechanical wings that extended from the body, feathered instruments that blurred the line between human and creature. This gown is the closest bridal design comes to that fusion: a dress that seems to grow feathers of its own.
An A-line gown with a fitted illusion bodice and long sleeves, defined by its extraordinary use of feather and fringe detailing. The sheer mesh base carries botanical embroidery — vine and leaf patterns — while real feathers and feather-like fringe cascade from the shoulders, along the sleeves, and down the bodice in sweeping diagonal lines. The effect is of plumage unfurling across the body. The neckline reads as a jewel or illusion crew neck, with the feather accents framing the decolletage.
The full tulle skirt extends into a chapel train, with feather details continuing asymmetrically down the length. From behind, the sheer construction reveals the embroidery pattern through the mesh, with feathered accents trailing along the spine and sleeves.
