Ruth is a ballgown that finds its clarity through a single tension — the off-shoulder drape that transforms a classic silhouette into something distinctly contemporary.

The off-the-shoulder construction uses structured fabric draping at the neckline — a gathered, ruched or twisted fabric band running from one shoulder across the bust to create a directional horizontal element. Below, the bodice is a structured, lightly ruched satin fitting closely to the natural waist. The transition to the skirt is clean: a full A-line in smooth ivory satin or mikado, entirely unembellished, with generous volume sweeping into a cathedral train.

What distinguishes Ruth is the discipline of its ornamentation: the drape at the shoulder is the gown's single concession to complexity. Everything else is surface, proportion and light.

Shown with a coordinating floral veil, the gown reads equally well unaccompanied — the silhouette requires no accessory to complete it.
